Sunny July week!

This week has been a busy one! Three trials and two weddings.

On Saturday i did the makeup for the wonderful Louise and her bridal party, whilst my friend Charlotte did the hair.
Really nice relaxed morning with lots of laughter and babies! Loads of babies, it was excellent! There is nothing I love more than babies.

Louise’s bridesmaid all had very similar natural smokey eyes with a glossy lip. Louise had a slightly darker smokey eye with statement lashes and my fav lip colour ever! (Chauffeur by makeup revolution)

She looked amazing!

This morning I was with the lovely Becky who is getting married at Dodford Manor. She stayed at the Mercure hotel in Daventry the night before so at 7am ( sounds early but it’s really not for me) I rocked up with all my bags and kit and started to get her and her bridal party ready, 5 hairs and 3 makeups.
Becky mother in law had the longest hair I’ve ever seen so we popped that up in a messy bun so it was out of her way. Becky’s mum had a gorgeous blow dry and then a fascinator that I put in and secured with a special technique.
Becky’s bridesmaids both had a messy up do and natural enhanced makeup (they looked amazing)
And Becky had her her down with some plaits in the front secured at the back of her head. It’s the perfect hair for someone that likes it down but wants something a little special. Becky’s makeup was stunning!(if I do say so myself) she had a smokey purple eye and a plum coloured lipstick. Her skin was flawless, which was helped by the fact she had followed my advice on skincare from the trial! Proud makeup artist moment!
The lovely Karla from Sky photography came to do her getting ready pictures, I love it when I see Karla as she is very down to earth and does a great job at relaxing the brides. I know Becky will have an amazing day as the weather is glorious and she has planned an incredible wedding!

The sun still shining and my children aren’t too grumpy at the moment so we are off for a pint! Well not the kids!
